On 14 November Julie Morgan MS will introduce the launch of Wales’ first National Safeguarding Learning and Development Standards.  

The Deputy Minister will be joined by a panel of safeguarding experts from across Wales. The hour-long launch event will start at 10am via Teams Live and chaired by Jane Randall of the National Independent Safeguarding Board Wales, who will be joined by Safeguarding leads from the statutory and voluntary sectors. They will discuss the safeguarding standards to set out expectations going forward and improve practice.
