Awareness Days

Thursday 10th of November 2022 – World Science Day for Peace and Development
Celebrated annually on the 10th of November, World Science Day for Peace and Development underlines the importance and significant role and relevance of science in society. The day aims to ensure that citizens are informed about developments in science and how we can utilise science to make our society more sustainable. It also aims to promote international solidarity for shared science, draw attention to the challenges faced by science, and renew commitment for the use of peaceful and sustainable science for the benefit of societies.

7-11th of November – International Stress Awareness Week
International Stress Awareness Week aims to promote a greater understanding of stress and offer sources of help to individuals and organisations. The theme this year is ‘Working Together to Build Resilience and Reduce Stress’. The International Stress Management Association and members in the UK will be delivering online and offline workshops and presentations with coping strategies and information surrounding stress.

7-11 November – Talk Money Week
Talk Money Week aims to destigmatise discussions around money. 1 in 3 people say that thinking about their financial situation makes them worried. The week aims to help people openly discuss money from pocket money to pensions with friends and family members and with professionals if required. You can get involved by having a simple chat with a friend or family member about money and breaking the taboo.
