The DARPL Childcare, Playwork and Early Years (CPEY) Practitioner series of professional learning compliments the series for senior leaders. It comprises three sessions which unpick anti-racism and explore actions that can be adapted in childcare, playwork, childminding and early-years education settings.
This series explores the impact of racism on the well-being and lives of Black, Asian and other Minority Ethnic people and issues that may adversely affect young children and their families. It’s important that anti-racism is driven actively in our everyday professional practice, to ensure that all childcare, play and early years settings affect positive change and improvement. The live sessions offer space for shared thought, guidance and discussion with the presenters and peers attending.
