😊 World Emoji Day  – July 17th 2024 😊 

These iconic little images, known as emojis, are more popular on the internet today than ever before—so naturally, they have their own special day.

How to Get Involved 

Celebrate World Emoji day in your settings this week by challenging the children to:

• Have an emoji only conversation: Challenge the children’s emoji knowledge by having an emoji only conversation. You can use an iPad or print a range of emojis out. See how well they can understand each other using only emojis. Who knew you could have a whole conversation without any words?
• Create their own emojis: Competition time! Challenge the children to create their own unique emoji. 
• Create an emoji t-shirt: Ask parents if the children could bring in an old t-shirt in to the setting so they can create their own emoji t-shirt.
