CIW have updated the list of information required to register your Childcare and Play Service.

Where relevant to the application, CIW will be requesting the following information as a mandatory part of your application to register:

• Building Control Certificate
• Evidence that planning permission has been sought or is in place
• EICR certificate dated within the last 5 years for non-domestic premises (this is not needed by childminders)
• Heating system certificate dated in the last 12 months
• Fire risk assessment
• Floor plans with measurements in square metres
