A bursary of up to £300 per learner is also available to eligible settings who are committed to registering with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) or who are already CIW registered and are looking to expand to provide Out of School Childcare. The bursary will support settings to cover the cost of staff members attending the training funded through the CYMell project. It will be paid to the setting to contribute directly to staff to attending training (or achieve qualifications) outside their working hours or to pay for staff to cover that member of staff if within work hours.
