As Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales, Emma Wools is responsible for setting out policing priorities within a Police and Crime Plan (you can find out more about the Police and Crime Commissioner here).

In addition to the Police and Crime Plan, which has been consulted on during early Autumn 2024, Emma is passionate about establishing child focused solutions for her priorities for policing through the development of a children and young people’s (CYP) Police and Crime Plan, reflective of the voice, needs, values and experiences of CYP within our police force area.

To achieve this, Emma needs your help and is reaching out to key stakeholders who work directly with / who are linked with established groups of children and young people up to the age of 24 to seek support in facilitating responses to our Children and Young Person’s Survey. The survey can be completed by children and young people themselves, or a group response can be facilitated by those engaging with children and young people.

We want our survey to reflect the diversity within our communities. If there are specific barriers to engaging with your groups/community that you would like to discuss with our office, please contact: engagement@south-wales.police.uk.

Kind Regards,

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales
