Contracted weekly hours: 6-16 hours per week. 

Days of work: Monday – Friday  

Hours to be worked: During term time, after school hours 

Salary: £11 per hour; £12 per hour for staff with Playwork NVQ  

Qualifications/experience required:  

• Must be fluent in Welsh. 
• Must have a clear enhanced DBS check. 
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Playwork is desirable. You must be willing to undertake relevant training. 
• Childcare experience is desirable. 

Daily duties include: Cymer Ofal is a small, vibrant Welsh language childcare and play company based at 2 Welsh language schools in Cardiff (Ysgol Treganna in Canton and Ysgol Hamadryad in Grangetown).  There will be opportunities to gain a Playwork NVQ qualification while working at Cymer Ofal.
