Contracted weekly hours: 16 hours per week.

Days of work: Monday-Friday

Hours to be worked: During term time

Hours of work: Before & After school hours

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Qualifications/experience required: Experience working with children is an advantage. No childcare qualifications necessary but must be willing to complete relevant training for the role.

A Level 3 qualification in Playwork is preferred (Paid at a higher rate than min wage).

Description of duties:

• Understand and contribute to an enriched, effective, flexible and stimulating play environment.
• Contribute to planning for children and young people’s play.
• Comply with the day care regulations, with regard to National Minimum Standards for Regulated Childcare.
