Children in Need are the BBC’s charity, with a mission to help ensure that every child in the UK is safe, happy, secure and has the opportunities they need to reach their potential. They raise money throughout the year and within an annual November appeal, funding local charities and projects who help remove the barriers that are facing children and young people, so that they can thrive.
This year’s ‘Together we can’ campaign is encouraging individuals, groups and famous supporters to come together to pledge their support to stand shoulder to shoulder to help those who need it the most.
As the National Voice for the Out of School Childcare Sector and as fierce advocates for play and for children’s rights, we at Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs have made our own pledge. If you would like to do the same, you can download a pledge card here: https://www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/bbc-children-in-need-2020/make-a-pledge-to-change-lives/

We continue to champion the importance of supporting children’s mental health and wellbeing. If you haven’t done so already, check out our Autumn edition of Y Bont that focused primarily on mental health and wellbeing. We have also posted this week about our template ‘Supporting Good Mental Health Policy’, which can be found on the members area of our website.Download PDF Tweet
