Monday 21st of November 2022 – Sunday 27th of November 2022 – Safeguarding Week

Is an opportunity for organisations to come together and discuss and raise awareness around safeguarding issues. Each day of the week highlights an important issue surrounding safeguarding. Monday 21st of November 2022 – World Television Day 

Since 1996 the United Nations have celebrated World Television Day to recognise the important impact TV has globally. In recognition of the impact that media, and especially television has on shaping world focus, decisions, and information about conflicts and threats to peace and security, it aims to promote ways that media can benefit communication in an everchanging world.


Friday 25th of November 2022 – White Ribbon Day

White Ribbon Day, also known as the International Day for the Eradication of Violence Against Women, is a day to support the prevention and eradication of violence towards women and girls. White Ribbon’s mission is to prevent violence by addressing the root causes of violence towards women and girls by changing and challenging attitudes, systems, and behaviours around masculinity that perpetuate gender inequality.
