Find out more about strengthening your committee in Welsh Charities Week

Over the last year and a half, we have supported 18 voluntary run clubs to better protect the financial liability of committee members by registering as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation.  Please get in touch if you would like to find out more.

Becoming a CIO means:

  • Protected liability.
  • Enhanced reputation – it is regulated by the Charity Commission.
  • Easier to recruit committee members.
  • Reduced business rates and tax relief.
  • Access to more grants.

“[We] were worried thinking [becoming a CIO] was going to be far more complicated, but you made the process so much easier.”   The Hollies Out of School Club, Rhondda Cynon Taf.

“The support provided by our Childcare Business Development Officer has been extremely valuable.  I would like to thank all those involved in making this happen.” Ysgol Pen Barras, Denbighshire

“The advice that we have received has been of a high standard.  A highly knowledgeable individual with significant experience.” Narberth CP School, Pembrokeshire.
