Our ‘Parent/Carer’ survey (June-July 2022) called for all parents/carers of children aged under 12 years in Wales to respond and highlight their childcare needs. The survey spanned different forms of regulated childcare (Out of School Childcare Clubs, Day Nursery, Playgroup, Cylch Meithrin, Childminder, Nannies, Open Access – these all register with Care Inspectorate Wales [CIW] if running over 2 hours per day, as well as unregulated childcare (e.g. sports camps, holiday activity clubs, family/friends, school holiday enrichment programme clubs – these do not register with CIW).
