World Parkinson’s Day – 11 April 2023

World Pakrinson’s Day aims to raise awareness of Parkinson’s disease and the challenges faced by those who suffer from the condition. As well as raising awareness it is also a chance to fundraise for Parkinson’s UK who provide support and information as well as supporting research efforts for treatments and cures.

International Dark Sky Week is celebrated across the world to protect and encourage people to learn more about the night sky. We are lucky in Wales to have Dark Sky Discovery Sites across the country where we can gaze at the stars and planets with little to no light pollution.
