Awareness Days

International Volunteer Day – Monday the 5th of December 2022

This International Volunteer Day, the United Nations is celebrating solidarity through volunteering. Volunteerism is one of the most important delivery methods for social, environmental and economic transformation. The UN’s Volunteer programme recognises and encourages volunteering in its progress towards sustainable human development and world peace. Volunteering can be formal but most volunteering is done on an informal basis, and benefits the wellbeing of volunteers as well as  those who benefit from their actions. This Monday why not celebrate volunteer’s invaluable contributions globally.

Christmas Jumper Day – Thursday the 8th of December 2022
