Childcare and play survey

The Welsh Government wants to hear your experiences of working in the childcare and playwork sector in Wales. The research seeks to gain a better understanding of the workforce’s characteristics and provide an accurate picture of its size and make-up. Findings will inform policy in Wales, particularly supporting and developing the workforce now and over the next five years.

Alma Economics has been commissioned to carry out this research project. As part of this, they are inviting childcare and playwork practitioners as well as setting managers to share their views anonymously in a short survey (expected to take no longer than 10 minutes). At the end of the survey, you will have the option to express interest in taking part in an interview or a focus group to discuss your views and experiences in more detail. This is completely optional and if you do express your interest, you will need to tell them your name, email address, and some details about your position in the sector. The personal information you provide for this purpose will not be associated with your answers. The survey closes on Sunday, 10 September at 23:59.
