Nisa Making a Difference Locally

The charity helps Nisa stores raise money that can then be donated to local charities and good causes. This is done through the sale of selected products in store, including all Co-op own brand items and those from Nisa’s own-label Heritage range.

Every time an item included in the scheme is purchased, a proportion of the price is added to the store’s MADL fund and this is then donated to good causes in that store’s local area.

Dŵr Cymru / Welsh Water

The Community Fund is a chance for communities to boost fundraising efforts for good causes in their area. If you live in an area where work is taking place – and you’re fundraising for projects to benefit the community – you could receive funding from Welsh Water up to a value of £1,000.

Hafren Dyfrdwy Community Fund

The Community Fund was launched in 2021, to support new projects by local charities and community groups in the Hafren Dyfrdwy region.

Applicants can apply for between £2,000-£10,000 for projects that are unique, have a genuine community need and stand out as having a real impact on improving community wellbeing.
