We are delighted to announce that we are running a Level 3 Award in Transition to Playwork (from early years) course through the medium of Welsh!

The course will be delivered by experts from Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs who will guide learners through the course material and provide personalised feedback and support. Learners will have access to a range of learning resources, online sessions, and assignments all through the medium of Welsh.

The course is designed to provide learners with the essential knowledge and skills require to work with children and young people in a Playwork setting. It will also provide learners with a recognised level 3 qualification that can enhance career prospects and development.

Some of the key topics covered in the course include the Playwork Principles and practice, child development and the importance of play, planning and delivering play opportunities, health and safety in playwork, and the legal framework surrounding Playwork.

We would be grateful if you could share this exciting new opportunity with anybody who you think would benefit from studying this qualification through the medium of Welsh. The course is suitable for anyone 16+ who is looking to start a career in Playwork; experienced practitioners looking to enhance their skills; and those with an interest in working with children and young people.

Spaces are limited. The course will take place online over Zoom for 2-hour sessions on Wednesday evenings from the 15th of March 2023 between 18:30 and 20:30.
