Awareness Days

April is Stress Awareness Month

We have some great resources that can support you and your team to ensure you take care of your well-being and stress levels due to life as well as work challenges.

  • The start of the new financial year is a good time to start with a clear financial plan, supporting how you are developing quality and enabling you to become sustainable in the coming year.
  • Let us support you with your work to help reduce some stress. By taking a few moments to start your Out of School Club Assessment ( OSCA) Our Childcare Buisness Development Officers funded through the Connected Childcare Communities National Lotter Funding can support you with a step-by-step action plan that will breakdown any improvement tasks you may need to make to develop or update elements of your service.
  • We can also help you develop a clear business plan or a strategy to ensure you are moving forwards with your business.

You can complete the OSCA through your Club Portal once you have reviewed your membership with Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs.

You can also access our Stepping Out resource for policies and procedures that support mental health – Check out our Stress Policy template

Celebrate Vaisakhi

Celebrated on either the 13th or 14th of April each year, Vaisakhi is an ancient Sikh harvest festival marking the beginning of a new year and new harvest season. It is one of the most significant holidays in the Sikh calendar and is a time dedicated to community spirit and forward-thinking.

People decorate their homes and places of worship with traditional brightly coloured garlands and flowers and wear very brightly coloured clothes. The most important part of the celebrations during the festival is to visit the Gurdwara, which is the special place of worship.
